So we learned this year that Christmas Tree prices do not go up in a rational way. The 6 foot tree we bought was 60 bucks. The 8 foot tree we looked at was 130 bucks and not nearly as nice. I guess that extra two feet is really tough to grow.

Way to not sell out and get a fake tree. I love the good ol family tradition of bundling up and picking out a real tree.
What a cute family!! And what a fun day it looks like you had! I sure miss those days!! And I REALLY miss having a REAL tree! Well, we will get to enjoy yours.
